Nightly Notes: Game #27

Sorry folks -- I got the DOTF post up earlier today, but there's not going to be time for a nightly notes post. I have exams tomorrow and Friday morning, so tomorrow may be a bit spotty as well. By the weekend I should (hopefully) be back to regular posting and commentary, and if something really BIG happens (which I really don't foresee) I'll do my best to post my comments on it. Otherwise, it's study time.

Don't you think Tampa Bay's dominance over Joe Nathan is something major to comment about? Joe is that man, but what has to happen for us to start the Neshek moving into a closer role rumors?

Not big enough at this point -- with a final this morning (which I think went well) and one tomorrow morning, the mere meltdown of a closer is not enough for me to risk a poor grade. Now, if someone were traded, it might be a different story. I will be back to commenting in depth as soon as I'm through this brutal stretch in my schedule. Unfortunately, something had to give, and as much as I love this blog it's not as important to me as good grades.

remember the old shadow editors of the MartyEmail1? ever consider a collaborative effort?

I actually hadn't considered that simply because I didn't expect to be delayed in posting. I really was caught a bit by surprise at how slowly my prep work for this round of exams has gone. However, my work tonight is going quickly, so I *think* I'll be back with both the DOTF report and a Nightly Notes segment by the end of the evening. Perhaps in the future I will consider shadow editors -- I hadn't considered the blog big enough yet to warrant such a thing, but I guess a fair number of (usually quiet) readers are lurking about, so perhaps it would be a good move. I'll certainly consider it -- thanks for the suggestion!

sorry to give you a hard time Taylor. I have just come to rely on your recaps (almost as much as I used to rely on copying your math assignments in high school) I really wanted your take on the blow up yesterday.

Maybe I will log on Sunday for a surprise call-in

BTW, even though I still have a blog by the same name, I like to pretend "MartyEmail" never existed.
