Yet More Cuts

The Twins spring roster continues to shrink, as Joe Christensen reports this morning. Righty reliever Julio DePaula was optioned to AAA Rochester, and righty reliever Tristan Crawford was assigned to the minor league camp. DePaula had a great 2006 season at AA New Britain, so his promotion doesn't come as much of a surprise. Crawford is also likely to end up in AAA, but the Twins don't have to make a decision one way or the other on him until the end of camp because he isn't on the 40-man roster.
